Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use on this website, why, and how you can accept, decline or change your choices at any time.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and local storage, work in comparable ways. They help a site remember your choices, work properly, and, where you allow it, measure usage and advertising.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept All, Decline optional cookies, or open Cookie Settings to choose by category. Optional cookies stay off until you agree. You can change your mind at any time:
The same link is in the footer of every page. Declining optional cookies does not limit your access to the website.
3. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Remember your cookie choice and keep the site secure and working. | Always on |
| Analytics & experience | Understand how visitors use the site, including page views, clicks, cursor movement and screen recordings, so we can fix problems and improve pages. | Off until you accept |
| Marketing | Measure our ads and show relevant ads to people who visited the site, on Google and other platforms. | Off until you accept |
4. Cookies in detail
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ktech_consent | Ktech (first-party) | Necessary | Stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again on every page. | 12 months |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and measures sessions and page views. | Up to 2 years |
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Marketing | Measures how ads lead to enquiries on this site. | 90 days |
_fbp | Meta Pixel | Marketing | Measures ad performance and builds audiences on Meta platforms. | 90 days |
Analytics and marketing cookies are set through Google Tag Manager, and only after you consent to that category. The exact cookies depend on the tags active at the time. Third-party providers set and control their own cookies; see the Google and Meta privacy policies for how they use data.
5. How consent works technically
We use Google Consent Mode. Until you choose, analytics and advertising storage are set to “denied”. When you accept or save a category, the site tells Google Tag Manager so that tags run only within the permissions you gave. If you decline, Google tags may still receive limited, cookieless signals, but they do not read or write analytics or advertising cookies.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies, including necessary ones, may stop parts of the site from working, and we will not be able to remember your choice.
7. More information
For how we handle personal data in general, read our Privacy Policy. Questions about cookies: ktechmedia@gmail.com.
