Privacy Policy
How Ktech Media Solutions collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data, and the choices and rights you have under Indian law.
1. Who we are
Ktech Media Solutions (“Ktech”, “we”, “us”) is a digital marketing and web development business based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For the personal data described in this policy, we decide why and how it is processed, which makes us the “data fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
This policy applies to ktechmediasolutions.com, including our India and Singapore service pages, and to enquiries you send us by form, phone, WhatsApp or email. Contact: ktechmedia@gmail.com.
2. Personal data we collect
Data you give us
- Enquiry and contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, the service category you select, and any message you write.
- Calls, WhatsApp and email: the details you share with us while discussing a project, such as your business name, website address and goals.
Data collected automatically
- IP address on form submission: when you submit a form, your IP address is looked up through a third-party service and included with your enquiry so we can filter spam and fake leads.
- Cookies and similar technologies: only after you accept them. If you allow analytics, this can include pages viewed, clicks, cursor movement, screen recordings, device and browser type, approximate location and referring page. If you allow marketing cookies, it can include ad interaction data. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not ask for payment card details, government identity numbers or other sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not send them in a form message.
3. Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals and deliver services you ask for.
- To keep records of our business dealings, invoices and communications.
- To protect the website from spam, abuse and fraud.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure and run our own advertising, but only where you have given consent through the cookie banner.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
Where the law requires consent, we process your data only on the basis of your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see section 8). Submitting an enquiry form is a request for us to contact you about it. We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them or have an existing business relationship with us, and every such message will carry a way to opt out.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, and only as needed:
- Form delivery: FormSubmit, which delivers form submissions to our email inbox.
- Email and messaging: Google (Gmail) and WhatsApp (Meta) when you contact us or we contact you through those channels.
- Analytics and advertising: Google Tag Manager and any analytics or advertising tags we run through it, only after you consent.
- IP address lookup: ipify, which returns your IP address to your browser when you use a form.
- Website hosting: our hosting provider, which stores website files and server logs.
- Professionals and authorities: accountants, legal advisers, or government and law enforcement bodies where the law requires.
5. Transfers outside India
Several of the providers above operate outside India, so your data may be processed on servers in other countries. We transfer data only to the extent permitted by Indian law and choose providers that apply security safeguards.
6. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry and project records for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver services and meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them. Cookie preferences are stored for up to 12 months. You can ask us to erase your data earlier (section 8), unless we are required by law to keep it.
7. How we protect your data
We follow reasonable security practices as required by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it: the site is served over HTTPS, access to enquiry data is limited to people who need it, and form submissions go to a protected inbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- get a summary of the personal data we process about you and the parties we have shared it with;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data, and to update it;
- ask us to erase personal data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected;
